Frequently asked questions
βΈWhen do kids learn regrouping in addition?
Typically during Grade 2, after two-digit addition without carrying is secure. Work through the Add Without Regrouping page first, then switch to the Add With Regrouping page when no-carry sums are consistently correct β they are two separate skills here, not two stops on one slider.
βΈHow many two-digit problems make a good Grade 2 sheet?
10β12 is a solid session, or 8 when regrouping is brand new β each problem takes more thinking than a simple fact. Adjust with the question-count stepper.
βΈMy child keeps forgetting the carried one β what helps?
Shorter sheets, bigger print, and saying the carry out loud. Print at a large size with the easy-read font, and check answers together against the key page immediately so the error never gets rehearsed.
βΈCan I share a worksheet with another parent or my class?
Yes β send the link. It reproduces the exact same worksheet, problems in the same order, so everyone works from an identical sheet and one answer key fits all.
βΈWhat paper sizes are supported?
A4 and US Letter. Pick yours in the controls and both the on-screen preview and the downloaded PDF reflow to that exact paper size.
