Frequently asked questions

▸When do kids start learning division?

Grade 3 in most curricula, typically age 8–9. It begins as sharing into equal groups and grouping, then connects to multiplication facts. Formal remainders and long division come in later grades.

▸How many division problems should a Grade 3 worksheet have?

12–16 works well. Division facts take a little longer than multiplication at first, so use the question-count stepper to keep sheets short and frequent rather than long and occasional.

▸Should Grade 3 division problems have remainders?

Not at first. Every level of the Division Facts sheet divides evenly, matching the standard Grade 3 focus. The Division with Remainders sheet is a separate sheet, and it exists for the transition into Grade 4 work.

▸How do I get the answer key?

Tick the Answer key box before downloading. The key prints on its own final page with numbered answers, so you can hold it back while your child works.

▸Do I need to sign up to make worksheets?

No. There is no account and nothing is uploaded — the worksheet is generated in your browser, and the web address itself stores your settings so the same link always rebuilds the identical sheet.
