Frequently asked questions
βΈWhat fraction skills are expected in Grade 4?
Generating and recognising equivalent fractions, comparing fractions with different numerators and denominators, and adding and subtracting fractions with the same denominator. The Equivalent Fractions, Comparing Fractions, Adding Like Fractions and Subtracting Like Fractions sheets here cover that ground.
βΈDo the addition problems ever mix denominators?
Only at one level. Adding Like Fractions and Subtracting Like Fractions keep denominators matched, the standard Grade 4 expectation, and so do the first two levels of Adding Mixed Numbers; its top level, Regroup past the whole, adds mixed numbers with different denominators. Unlike-denominator arithmetic otherwise arrives in Grade 5, after equivalence is solid, and gets its own sheets there.
βΈCan a whole class use the same worksheet?
Yes. Share the link and every student gets the identical problems, so one printed answer key checks the entire set. Shuffle first if you want a different version per group.
βΈWhat paper sizes are supported?
A4 and US Letter β pick either in the controls and both the on-screen preview and the downloaded PDF reflow to match exactly.
βΈIs there a font option for students who struggle with dense pages?
Yes. Switch on the easy-read font and choose a larger size; fewer problems fit per page, but spacing and letterforms get noticeably friendlier for students who lose their place.
